By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tazroo mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform") operated by Algadong IT Solutions Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"), the registered company behind the Tazroo brand.

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Services

Tazroo is a technology platform that connects:

  • Customers who request delivery services
  • Independent riders
  • Agents and registered logistics companies

The Platform:

  • Allows booking and tracking of deliveries
  • Supports rider, logistics company, and agent participation
  • Provides tools for delivery coordination

Important: Tazroo acts solely as an intermediary platform. We do not own delivery vehicles, and riders, agents, or logistics companies are independent contractors, not employees of Tazroo.

3. User Accounts & Registration

To use the Platform, you must create an account and agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
  • Keep your login credentials (PIN, password) secure and confidential
  • Not share your account with others
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

Riders must also provide valid identification, vehicle details, and necessary documentation for verification. Agents must provide valid identification and bank details for commission payouts.

We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or remove any account at our discretion.

4. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate pickup and delivery information
  • Ensure items being sent are lawful and do not violate applicable laws
  • Not send prohibited items (e.g., illegal drugs, weapons, stolen goods, hazardous materials)
  • Be available or designate a recipient to receive deliveries
  • Treat riders, logistics companies, and agents with respect and courtesy

Tazroo is not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate information or prohibited items.

5. Rider Responsibilities

As a rider on Tazroo:

  • Maintain a valid driver's license and vehicle registration where required by law
  • Keep your vehicle in safe and serviceable condition
  • Handle all packages with care
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy
  • Not accept prohibited items
  • Keep your location updated in the app while online and during active deliveries
  • Not fabricate delivery confirmations

Riders operate as independent contractors and are solely responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and compliance with laws.

6. Agent Responsibilities

Agents may be responsible for:

  • Referring customers and riders
  • Supporting platform operations as described on the Platform

Agents must:

  • Provide accurate identity information
  • Provide valid bank details for commission payouts
  • Not misuse the platform or referrals

7. Payments & Fees

Delivery fees are calculated based on distance, vehicle type, and demand at the time of booking. The price shown before booking is the expected delivery fee unless a route change occurs mid-delivery.

  • Payment responsibility may be set to sender or recipient based on the selected delivery option
  • Interstate delivery fee payments and rider service-charge payments may be processed via Flutterwave, where applicable
  • Depending on the delivery arrangement, delivery payment may be made directly to the independent rider or logistics company (for example, cash or bank transfer)
  • Riders may receive payment through customer cash payment or bank transfer, based on the selected payment method
  • Riders receive earnings according to the applicable payout structure
  • Agents receive referral commissions where applicable
  • Agent commission withdrawals are processed to the agent's registered bank account after required review and approval
  • Tazroo may deduct a service fee from transactions

Where payments are processed through the Platform, they are handled securely using approved payment partners.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Attempt to access unauthorized parts of the Platform
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or distribute Platform content
  • Use the Platform for fraud or deception
  • Manipulate ratings or reviews
  • Engage in any conduct that interferes with Platform operations

Violations may lead to suspension or permanent ban of your account.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tazroo is not liable for:

  • Loss, damage, or delay of packages in transit
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, strike, or circumstances outside our control
  • Any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages
  • Accidents involving riders or third parties

Customers are encouraged to insure valuable or fragile items.

10. Termination

Tazroo may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or behavior that poses risk to other users or the Platform.

You may also delete your account via the app. Once terminated, your rights to use the Platform end immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through the app or email. Continuing to use the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Third-Party Services

Tazroo may integrate with trusted third-party services, including payment processors, notification infrastructure, and mapping providers. Your use of those third-party services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

While we select providers carefully, Tazroo is not responsible for service interruptions or policy changes made by third-party providers.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve it in good faith through direct written communication.

If the matter is not resolved within a reasonable period, either party may pursue available remedies through courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.

15. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tazroo regarding use of the Platform.
